WinterIn winter Charlotte Pass is only accessible by over snow transport (snowcat) from Perisher Valley, the journey taking about 40 minutes. If travelling by car, park at Bullock's Flat and travel on the Ski Tube to Perisher, just 12 minutes away. The Snowcats service is frequent on all arrival and departure days during the winter season. It is not possible to book a specific Snowcat, but up to date departure details can be determined from CHARLOTTE PASS VILLAGE PTY LTD (Telephone : (02) 64 575 247), or by checking The Charlotte Pass Village website. SummerIn summer, simply drive into Perisher Valley and keep on going. Charlotte Pass is about 20 minutes away. Please note that Stillwell Lodge is situated in the heart of the national park, and as such, entrance fees to the area apply. The temperature is pleasant in spring and summer - no outback heat here. And if you've always wanted to take a summer's walk to Mt Kosciuszko, Charlotte Pass is the closest village to Australia's highest peak.
